Upcycled Pocket Anorak Abaya — Midnight Garden

There is something quietly dramatic about Midnight Garden. The nearly black botanical textile is scattered with delicate flowers and foliage in soft cream, taupe and muted earthy tones — almost like an old botanical drawing appearing out of the darkness.

The darker textile takes the lead in this sister piece, forming most of the body and sleeves. It is framed by a softly patterned cream textile running the full length of the front opening and repeated generously along the lower sides and oversized pockets. The contrast is striking without being stark: dark against light, botanical against geometric, romantic against restrained.

Its sister piece, Ivory Midnight Garden, reverses the composition, allowing the cream textile to become the body while reserving the dark botanical for the trim, pockets and lower panels. Same reclaimed textiles. Two completely different personalities.

And once again, this is utility meeting feminine. The oversized pockets are unapologetically practical, while the botanical print and flowing silhouette soften the entire piece. It feels artistic and feminine without being precious — an abaya designed to actually be worn.

Wear it over black for a moodier monochromatic look, or layer it over cream, taupe or denim and let the contrast become the statement.

Fit & Sizing:
Slightly oversized, one size fits most. Comfortably fits sizes 4/6 through XXL. Long, modestly tapered sleeves. Relaxed, flowing silhouette designed for layering.

Care:
Wash cold on delicate cycle inside a mesh bag. Hang to dry. Never put in the dryer. Steam or warm iron to remove wrinkles.
