After embracing Islam in 1999, Michaela Corning struggled to find clothing that felt both modest and modern — especially for life in corporate America. What began as sewing simple scarf and abaya sets for the Seattle Muslim community grew into a brand dedicated to effortless, everyday modest style.
Michaela is also the founder of Barakah Beauty Collective, a women-only salon and boutique in Seattle created as a welcoming space for Muslim women to gather, collaborate, and celebrate beauty and community.
