The Pocket Story Mini — Watermelon Resistance, Black Wash | Upcycled Denim Convertible Bag

This one-of-a-kind convertible bag is handmade from washed black denim, preserving the original jean pockets on both sides. The deep charcoal exterior opens to reveal a vivid red watermelon-print cotton lining—a joyful, immediately recognizable symbol of Palestinian identity, resilience, and resistance.

Unlike the other Pocket Story Minis in this collection, this piece does not include an Afghan pendant. Its details are deliberately cleaner: warm gold-toned hardware, a metal zipper, and a deconstructed denim strap built from multiple removable sections.

An additional looped denim strap section is included. It can be clipped onto the bag as a textural charm or added to the main strap whenever extra length is needed.

Wear it as a crossbody, shorten it for shoulder wear, or remove and reconfigure the strap to carry it as a clutch.
