Printed Jersey Hijab: Tausala Island Beauty

Named by our very own Amatullah - Samoan Muslim convert woman titled for her leadership as "Tausala" in her village. She is a Chief and daughter of a Chief. A close friend of Michaela and staunch supporter of the Barakah Beauty Collective space in Seattle; we would not have this 3rd place for Muslim women without the support of our sisters like Amatullah. Premium jersey hijab made in limited edition prints. Available in two hijab styles and also two lengths! Select your style and length from the drop down menu. 

Measurements:

• Compact length: approx. 28" x 56” - available in slip-on and regular wrap
• Long Length: approx. 28" x 70" -  available in slip-on and regular wrap

Color: Black, grey, white, cobalt blue and forest green geometric and floral pattern. Pattern placement varies. Underside is a faded version of the print (see photo). 

• Compact length: has pattern running horizontally. See photos.
• Long length: has pattern running vertically. See photos.

Feel: Lightweight and soft feeling. Does not require an under cap.

Fabric: Modal/Lycra blend

Available styles: Slip-on or regular wrap style. Michaela is wearing slip-on style in her pics. 

Handmade in Seattle, WA by local fiber artists paid fair wages.

Care instructions: Hand wash cold. Hang to dry. Never put in the dryer! Light iron on the back side of hijab. 

Slip-on style: Sewn on one side, so they can be slipped on without securing them and then wrapped around the head or around the neck - your choice! Short side is on the left and long side is on the right.

Regular wrap style: This is an oblong rectangular hijab sewn all the way around with beautiful finished edges.
