Printed Jersey Hijab: Rainshadow

This limited-edition jersey hijab features an asymmetrical black-and-white panel print that changes depending on how you wrap it. One section is bold and graphic, another fades into softer markings, and areas of clean white create negative space throughout the design. No matter how you style it, the print reveals something different.

The name Rainshadow draws from the geography of the Pacific Northwest—the places where mountains interrupt weather patterns, creating dramatic shifts between rain, cloud, shadow, and light. That sense of movement felt especially fitting for a textile that refuses to look exactly the same from every angle.

At 32 inches wide, Rainshadow offers significantly more coverage than our standard hijabs, while the 64-inch length gives you plenty of fabric for wrapping, draping, and layering. The soft jersey construction makes it an easy everyday hijab, while the oversized dimensions and statement panel print give it presence.

Produced in a very limited quantity, Rainshadow joins Cascadia Fogline as part of this small Pacific Northwest-inspired release—continuing the ideas of place, textile, transformation, and renewal explored through Threads of Renewal.

Slip-On Style
Sewn along one side so it can be slipped on without pins or securing, then wrapped around the head or neck—your choice. The short side sits on the left and the long side on the right.

Regular Wrap Style
A classic oblong rectangular hijab, fully finished around all edges for a clean, polished look.

Care Instructions
Hand wash cold, or machine wash on the delicate cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Hang to dry. Never tumble dry or iron. Steam only to remove wrinkles.
