The pocket panels and trim are cut from a contrasting black and white medallion cotton — bold, graphic circular motifs that feel almost like fine lace against the softness of the embroidered body. The contrast is intentional and it works beautifully: artisan meets graphic, soft meets structured.

This is one of the most labor-intensive pieces in the entire Rose & Linen Collection — and it shows.

Wear it open over white or cream and let the embroidery speak for itself.

Fit & Sizing:

Hand wash cold or delicate cycle inside a mesh bag. Hang to dry. Never put in the dryer. Steam to remove wrinkles.

A note on the fabric: These abayas are made from upcycled textiles — fabric that has already lived somewhere before it came here. Because of that, some pieces carry slight imperfections: a variation in weave, a faint mark, a subtle irregularity. We consider these signs of the fabric's history, not flaws in the garment. They are part of what makes reclaimed textile work honest, and part of what makes each piece genuinely one of a kind.
