The body of this abaya is woven from a warm taupe cotton with a delicate diamond dot pattern — quiet, grounding, and endlessly wearable. The pockets, front placket, cuffs, and hem border are cut from a sweeping paisley print in deep crimson, teal, and ivory. Rich, traveled, and unmistakably intentional.
This isn't a print simply placed on a garment. The paisley is used as structured trim — framing the placket from collar to hem, lining each cuff, and anchoring the oversized front pockets. It's a design decision that takes a storied fabric and makes it architectural.
Wear it open and flowing for an effortless, relaxed look — or belted for something more intentional. Either way, it carries the warmth and depth of something that has traveled a long way to reach you.

A note on the fabric: These abayas are made from upcycled textiles — fabric that has already lived somewhere before it came here. Because of that, some pieces carry slight imperfections: a variation in weave, a faint mark, a subtle irregularity. We consider these signs of the fabric's history, not flaws in the garment. They are part of what makes reclaimed textile work honest, and part of what makes each piece genuinely one of a kind.
