Handmade in Kuwait by Bedouin women with roots in different parts of the Gulf, this niqab features a double-layer upper privacy flap that covers the eyes completely when lowered. Fold it back over the forehead to reveal an open eye space while keeping the lower face covered.

There is no central string dividing the eye opening. The continuous opening sits beneath the movable privacy flap, giving you two ways to wear the same piece.

Two ways to wear

• Flap down: The double-layer upper flap covers the eyes for added privacy.

• Flap folded back: The eyes are exposed through a continuous opening while the lower face remains covered.
