Palestinian Kuffiyah Oversized Vintage Jean Jacket

Each one is handmade by Michaela in her sewing studio in Seattle, WA. 

This vintage oversized jean jacket is decorated with an authentic, made in Palestine, kuffiyah plus a mixture of hand curated embellishments. In addition to embellishing this garment by hand, Michaela also hand bleached it to give it that perfect worn look. This jean jacket also features the image of a vintage postcard from pre-occupation Palestine. The Palestinian women are wearing traditional textiles and dress. The postcard reads (in French, English and German):

“JERUSALEM

Femmes turcs.

Mohammedan Women.

Mohammedamische Frauen.”

The opposite side says “Paris”  

Garment measurements:

Length = 45" approx.

Bust = 24" across (48" around) approx.

Waist & Hips = 22" across (44" around) approx.

Shoulder span = 16-22" approx. Garment has dropped shoulders so there is not a defined arm seam.

Complete arm span (end of sleeve to opposite sleeve edge) = 60" approx

Sizing considerations: This is a vintage garment and labeled as a size 12 however it fits American sizes 4-12 comfortably. Please check garment measurements above to ensure a proper fit. Model is a size 4 and 5'10" tall.
